Justification and Sanctification

Justification: We are positionally declared righteous before God through our union with Christ in his death and resurrection.

Sanctification: We are progressively being transformed by God into Christlikeness.

Holiness is our eternal destiny, and so it must progressively become our present reality.

Application:

Active Role: Walking in Obedience, Kill Sin, Pursue Holiness, Be Disciplined

Inactive Role: Yielding to the Spirit
