Lust and Divorce

1. God’s wrath against sin in all its shapes and manifestations burns more intensely than we think it does.

2. Hell is so horrible that it defies all description and imagination.

3. God’s plan for marriage is, and always has been, one biological man and one biological woman married to each other as long as they both shall live.

4. God’s love for his redeemed children burns more intensely than we think it does.

Application:

To those who are not God’s children: we fervently invite you to come to Christ in repentance & faith, and he will receive you in forgiveness & salvation.

To those who are God’s children: our Father is graciously at work sanctifying us as he conforms us to the image of Jesus Christ, so we must respond correctly to his sanctifying Word.
